If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is the value of video? Well, as modern marketing research is telling us, it appears to be a lot. We’re talking six figures here.
Let’s look at some of the following facts and figures:
YouTube now has more than 1 billion users, with 300 hours of video being uploaded to the site every single minute. And the number of hours of video being watched continues to grow at a rate of 50% year over year. (Source)
From where I’m sitting, 2014 was a fantastic year from a creative content standpoint. 2015 looks like it will build on the successes of the year that has passed, and, like everything in life, new lessons will be learned, best practices will be tested, and new means of creating fresh content will be introduced as we continue to move forward.
So, for the year that has parted, and the year that is fresh and ready to unfold, I’d like to pitch a question in regards to great content...
A-Ha! moments. They make you stop and think, don’t they?
I think the biggest A-Ha! moment for me at the Nov. 13 ‘A-Ha!’ Summit, NH’s biggest social media and marketing, conference, came right when I stepped in the event hall doors. That’s when I realized my iPhone storage was zero bytes available, 13.3 GB used.
This wouldn’t be so bad, except for the following:
