On Monday, November 13th, Marvel founder and famed comic book writer and editor, Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95. The legendary storyteller and co-creator of such iconic superhero characters including Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, the X-Men, Ant-Man, Iron Man, and Thor leaves a lasting impression on people from many walks of life, which is an impact he strove to make – that of bringing people together regardless of means, skin color, or geographic locale.

Does the new logo have anything to do with the past?

NASCAR (National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing) has recently updated their logo and brand identity in an attempt to refresh their brand as a whole. In their history, NASCAR has had four logos; three of which looked nearly identical, and a fourth, which has been the face of the brand since 1975. The new design is intended to be concise, relevant, and functional; while simultaneously incorporating marks from the previous four logos, as a tribute to its history.
