It's that time again, the trees have shed their leaves, Christmas music has started playing in the stores, and we prepare for the one day of year when it’s encouraged to gorge ourselves silly.

In honor of that delectable bird we baste to perfection every thanksgiving (at least for us carnivores) I'm taking a closer look at a few companies & organizations that have used the gobbler to identify themselves:

Andrew Kim is an up-and-coming product design star. He's currently a student but already has such stunning works as this square Coke bottle design.

What I love most about this is Andrew's attention to the functionality of the design. The functional goals of the design drive the look, such as the offset cap, square shape, and collapsable plastic sides.

Really brilliant work.

I was recently asked to give some business advice. I thought about it for quite a while – first of all, I’m not that old, so I haven’t accumulated much wisdom worth sharing. But I have opinions, so I could find something to say. What, then, could I suggest that is unique and has real value?
